Design Routes is a research project that explores the role of design in developing and revitalising culturally significant designs, products and practices. We’re funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council - you can find out more about them by visiting our Funding page.
Design Routes is led by Principal Investigator, Martyn Evans at Lancaster University. Professor Stuart Walker and Professor Tom Cassidy both hold the position of Co-Investigator. Amy Twigger Holroyd and Jeyon Jung are full-time researchers on the project. You can find out more about the research team here.
Over coming weeks and months we’ll be populating our website with examples of culturally significant designs, products and practices from around the world and sharing project progress in this blog. You can also keep up to date with project developments by following Design Routes on Twitter.
